We set a session cookie so you stay logged in, and one that remembers whether you left the sidebar open. Your light or dark preference is stored in your browser rather than sent to us.

All of these are necessary for the dashboard to work as you left it, and none is used for advertising or shared with anybody. There is nothing here to consent to, which is why we do not ask - a banner asking permission for a login cookie is a banner that teaches people to dismiss banners.

A generated site sets nothing by default. If its owner connects analytics or advertising tools, those tools set their own cookies under their own terms.

Where that applies, the site owner is responsible for obtaining consent, and Buildly provides a consent banner for the purpose. That banner records the visitor’s answer in one cookie, and the tracking scripts are only ever put on the page after an explicit yes - refusing, or ignoring the banner entirely, means they are never loaded at all.

Contact forms on generated sites are protected against automated submissions. That check may set a short-lived token in the visitor’s browser to distinguish a person from a script.
