When you need a person rather than an article, you can ask the Buildly team directly from your dashboard. Every member of your organization can open a request, Viewers included, and the whole conversation stays in one place.
Opening a request
- Open Support from your organization’s menu and choose New request.
- Choose what it is about: Help building something, Something is broken, Billing, or General question.
- Sum it up in a sentence.
- Pick the site it is about, if it is about one.
- Describe what you need, then choose Send request.
Your request gets a reference you can quote. The more detail you give - what you were doing, what you expected, what happened instead - the faster we can help.
Following a request
Requests move through Open, In progress, Solved and Closed. Our replies appear in the request, marked as from Buildly, and you get a notification in your dashboard when we reply or change its status. You can add more information at any time with Send reply.
If you reply to a solved request, it opens again. A closed request takes no more replies; if you still need help, open a new one.
Letting our team make a change for you
If you choose Help building something and pick a site, you can tick Let our team make the change for you. That lets our team edit the site’s draft while the request is open.
- Only that one site, and only while the request is open
- For at most two weeks, and it ends on its own once the request is done
- You can end it at any time with Stop now on the request
Owners, Admins and Editors can give this permission; Viewers cannot. While it is on, the request shows that our team can edit your draft.
Asking Juno first
If Juno is switched on for your organization, you can ask it questions about Buildly from the dashboard. When a question needs a person, Juno can offer to file a support request for you - nothing is sent until you choose File this request.
