From a conversation to a website you have read and approved.
You answer questions about your business. Buildly writes and assembles the site. Nothing is public until you have read it and pressed publish. Here is every step, and what you see at each one.
Seven steps, in the order you meet them.
Most of the work happens in the third step, and you do not have to watch it.
Step 1: Create your account
Four fields: your name, your business’s name, an email and a password. Then confirm your email from the link we send, and sign in. There is no template gallery to browse first.
Juno uses your first name when it says hello, so it knows who it is talking to.
Create your accountStep 2: Tell Juno about your business
Juno asks one question at a time: whether you are starting fresh or already have a website, what you do and who for, your main services, why people choose you, and how customers reach you. Many questions come with answers to tap instead of type.
If you already have a website, Juno reads it and drafts from it. If you are listed on Google, Yelp or similar, it can look you up and show you what it found, so you pick your own profiles rather than type addresses you do not know by heart.
For a new site, the last question is which design to build on. Then you check your answers and press Build my website.
Build your websiteStep 3: Buildly writes and builds the site
From your answers, Buildly plans the site and writes every page - home, about, services, contact and the rest the design includes - with a page for each service you named. It chooses photographs for each section, writes the title and description search engines show, and writes your first blog post.
The progress list tells you what it is doing as it does it. You can close the tab; the build carries on without you.
Building your websiteStep 4: Read the draft before anyone else can
A new site is a draft. You can open it, click through every page and check it on a phone, but visitors cannot see it. The bar at the top always says which you are looking at: what is published, or changes that are not yet.
This gap is deliberate. Everything Buildly wrote is a first draft about your business, and you are the one who knows whether it is right.
Ortiz Garden CareStep 5: Change anything by clicking it
The editor shows your real page. Click a heading or a sentence and a small panel opens beside it: type your own words, or ask Juno to rewrite them. Save keeps the change; Undo takes back the last one.
Colors, fonts, button shape and spacing are on the Appearance screen, chosen from what your design offers. You can move the whole site to another design there too, and see what would change before anything does.
Editor - HomeStep 6: Publish when you are happy with it
Press Publish and the site goes live at its free address. Later edits wait in your draft until you publish again, so a half-finished change is never what a customer sees.
Every publish is kept as a version, and you can go back to an earlier one. On a team, only Owners and Admins can publish; Editors can change the draft.
Ortiz Garden CareStep 7: Keep it working after launch
Messages sent through your site’s forms arrive in Leads, with a notification in your dashboard - and by email too, once you connect your email provider.
More blog posts about your business and your trade follow a few days apart. Edit any post, or switch it off your site.
Anything Buildly writes or draws for you is paid for in Sparks. Your own words and your own photos are always free.
