Buildly is free while in beta.
Bookshops, florists, hardware stores, boutiques, delis, bike shops. Most people visiting a shop’s website are deciding whether the trip is worth it: do you have what they want, are you open, and where do they park?
Not a full catalog - the ranges and brands that bring people in, and the things your shop is known for.
Your hours, including the days that differ, so nobody drives over to a locked door.
Your address, where to park, and the nearest bus or train stop.
Advice, repairs, fittings, someone who knows the stock. Say what the shop gives that ordering online cannot.

Every Buildly site is built from the pages its design defines, with three collections that grow with you: services, projects and blog posts. This is how your kind of business fits into them.
| What you have | Where it goes |
|---|---|
| What you stock, by range or department | Services, one page each. There is no product catalog on Buildly sites |
| In-store services - repairs, fittings, gift wrapping | Services too, alongside what you stock |
| Hours and address | Your contact page |
| New arrivals, events and news | Blog posts, on designs that have a blog page |
| Keeping in touch with regulars | A newsletter sign-up in the footer, on designs that have one. Sign-ups arrive in Leads |
Juno asks every business the same kinds of questions, in a conversation rather than a form, and phrases them her own way. Your answers are what make the site yours: the words are written from them, and the photographs Buildly chooses from its library are matched to what you say you do.
“What do you do, and who do you do it for?” is yours to answer in your own words. Juno will offer to draft why people choose you.
Everything the interview coversWhat do you do, and who do you do it for?
An independent bike shop: sales, repairs and bike fitting for commuters and weekend riders.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Saturday 9 to 6, Sundays 10 to 4.
Why do people choose you rather than someone else nearby?
Same-day repairs, and staff who actually ride.
None of it is required to start - the build can begin once Juno knows your business name, what you do and where - but each one makes the first draft closer to finished.
No. There is no online store or checkout on Buildly sites. A Buildly site is for telling people what you stock and getting them into the shop; if you already sell online elsewhere, point a button on your site to it in the editor.
Describe your ranges as services when Juno asks for your main services - road and gravel bikes, repairs and servicing, bike fitting. Each one gets a page of its own, which is also the page someone searching for it finds.
Some designs include a newsletter sign-up in the footer. Sign-ups are saved as leads in your dashboard, and you can download them as a spreadsheet to use with the mailing service you already have.
If you tell Juno how long you have been in business, designs with a numbers band show it as a figure. If you do not, a figure appears only when the same words are written on your own website or a listing Buildly found - and one from someone else’s listing waits for you to confirm it. Buildly never estimates one: a made-up number would be a claim published in your name.

Tell Juno what you stock, when you are open and why people come in, and Buildly writes the site that gets them through the door.
