Deleting a site takes it off the web and removes it from your organization for good. It is the way to take down a site you no longer want, and it cannot be undone, so it asks you to confirm twice.
What is deleted
- The site and all its pages
- Its published versions
- Every lead it has collected
The site comes off the web immediately. Photographs it used from Buildly’s library stay in the library. Your other sites, your team and your sparks are not affected.
Before you delete
- Download your leads from the Leads screen if you want to keep them
- Copy any wording you might want again
- Disconnect a custom domain if you plan to use it elsewhere
Deleting the site
- Open the site and choose Site Settings, then the Delete site tab.
- Under Delete this site, type the name the screen asks for, exactly, and enter your password.
- Choose Delete site.
Only Owners and Admins can delete a site. If our staff have taken a site offline, deleting it is paused until that is resolved.
To delete your whole organization instead, see Deleting an organization.
