Deleting an organization deletes everything in it: every site, its content and leads, and your team’s access. Because that is so much, it does not happen at once. Your sites go offline straight away, and there is a grace period in which you can change your mind.
Before you start
- Cancel your subscription first - Buildly will not delete an organization that is still being billed
- Download your organization data, including leads, from Settings
- Tell your team: they lose access to every site
To cancel the subscription, choose Manage billing on the Billing screen - see Your plan, card, and receipts.
Deleting the organization
- Open Settings and go to Data and danger zone.
- Under Delete organization, type your organization’s name exactly, and enter your password.
- Choose Delete organization.
Only an Owner can do this. Every site comes off the web immediately. When the grace period ends, the sites and everything on them are deleted for good. Billing records are kept in anonymized form, because the law requires it.
Changing your mind
After you delete, Buildly shows the Owner a page saying the organization is scheduled for deletion, with the date everything will be deleted for good. Until then, choose Cancel the deletion, and everything comes back as it was. Once the grace period has ended, the deletion can no longer be canceled.
