A Buildly account is two things made at once: you, and the organization your sites belong to. Whoever signs up becomes that organization’s first Owner. This article covers signing up, confirming your email address, and the extra sign-in step every account sets up.
Signing up
- Open the sign-up page. It is headed Create your account.
- Fill in Your name, Business name, Email and Password. The page tells you how long a password must be.
- Tick the box to agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy, then choose Create account.
The business name becomes your organization’s name. Your own name is what your team sees, and Juno uses it too, so it does not ask for it again.
Confirming your email address
Buildly sends a link to the address you gave. Until you confirm it you cannot sign in, so look for that email first - and in your spam folder if it has not arrived.
- Open the link in the email.
- On the page that opens, choose Confirm my email.
- When it says Thanks - that is confirmed, you can sign in.
Links stop working after a while. If yours has expired, the page says so and offers Send a new link.
Protecting your account
The first time you sign in, Buildly asks you to add a second step to your sign-in, so that a password on its own is never enough to get into your business’s sites. You choose a passkey or an authenticator app, then save a set of recovery codes. It takes a minute or two, and it is not optional - see Passkeys and authenticator apps.
Your first site
With no sites yet, your dashboard offers Build your first site. That opens the interview with Juno - see What happens when you describe your business.
