The interview that builds your site can be typed or spoken. Both are the same conversation: answers you give out loud are kept in the same interview as answers you type, so you can start one way and finish the other.
Typing
The interview opens as a typed chat. Write in the box at the bottom and send. Some questions come with suggested answers you can tap instead - a few choices to pick from, an offer to Draft it for me, or a way to skip, such as Skip this one or I’d rather not say.
Talking
- In the interview, choose Talk instead.
- Press Tap to start speaking. Your browser asks for permission to use the microphone the first time.
- Juno speaks its questions and listens to your answers. The words appear on screen as you go. If Juno is mid-sentence and you want to say something, tap to cut in.
- When you are done, choose End the call. Your answers are saved.
To go back to the keyboard at any point, choose Type instead. If Juno heard something wrong, say so, or type the right answer in the chat.
If the spoken interview will not start
- If your browser is blocking the microphone, allow it in the browser’s settings for Buildly, or type your answers.
- If your device has no microphone, the spoken interview cannot run there.
- If the call drops, everything answered so far is kept. Start again, or type the rest.
Building from either
Once Juno knows enough, Build my website appears, typed or spoken. The interview itself uses no sparks either way - see What is a spark?
