You do not have to finish the interview in one go. Buildly keeps your answers as you give them, so you can leave and come back, and if you would rather begin again, you can.
Coming back
Open the interview again and Buildly picks it up where you stopped, with a note at the top: Picking up the interview you already started. Typed and spoken answers are both there, because they are one conversation.
Starting over
There are two ways to begin a fresh interview:
- When you come back to an unfinished interview, choose Start a new one instead under the note at the top.
- At any time, open the Interview options menu at the top of the chat and choose Start over. It puts the current conversation aside and begins a new one.
Keeping a copy
The same Interview options menu has Download transcript, which saves what was said and what Buildly kept from it as a file. It is worth doing before you start over if you want a record of your answers.
Already built your site?
Starting the interview over begins a new interview, and building from it makes a new site. To have Buildly write an existing site again instead, see Rewriting your whole site. For smaller changes, the editor is quicker - see Using the editor.
